Cryptographic Key Generator generates secure, truly random cryptographic keys of any length, using Intel® Secure Key Technology on CPUs that have that capability. On CPUs that do not, CKG generates secure, truly random cryptographic keys by means of entropy derived from computer hardware, using time-variant sampling and distributive techniques. In both cases, CKG passed the NIST Statistical Test Suite for Random and Pseudorandom Number Generators for Cryptographic Applications, with outstanding results. Final Analysis Reports of the tests appear in the User's Guide. Output is presented in both hexadecimal and decimal format, making random numbers available for non-cryptographic purposes.
